Oldham Cricket Club are based in the Watersheddings area of Oldham and proudly bear the name of a town with 160,000 residents.
We have teams in the First and Second divisions of the Central Lancashire League, as well as a thriving Junior Cricket section, with teams at Under 18, Under 15, Under 13 and Under 11 levels.
In 1892, we were one of the founder members of the CLL. We left in 1893, but rejoined in 1900 and have been members ever since. We are one of only two clubs to have left and successfully rejoined the league. The other is Radcliffe, who took 40 years to return.
Our success in the Central Lancashire League mostly came over an eleven year period between 1976 and 1986. In this time we won the Burton Cup once, the First Division twice, the Second Division, the Aggregate Cup and the First Division Subsidiary Competition three times and the Wood Cup four times. Our last taste of senior team success came in 2002 when we won the Third Division Championship and Third Division Plate.
